Tools for the original OsmoSDR hardware

What it does

Command-line tools and the driver library for OsmoSDR, the small single-board SDR the Osmocom project designed before RTL-SDR made cheap dongles universal.

Why you would want it

Only if you have the hardware. It is carried because the device exists and a person holding one should find support here rather than a gap, not because it is a device anyone should now go looking for.

OsmoSDR hardware. Nothing here is useful without it.

Known problems

The hardware was never produced in large numbers and the project's energy moved to gr-osmosdr and to supporting other devices years ago. Treat this as legacy support: it works, and no one is developing it. The name is a recurring confusion -- osmo-sdr is this hardware's driver, gr-osmosdr is the GNU Radio block that talks to many devices, and most people searching for one want the other.
