canadian-ham-exam¶
Practice tests for the Canadian amateur radio qualification exams
- Version recorded: 1.0.1

What it does¶
Draws questions from the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada question banks for the Basic and Advanced qualifications, marks them, and reports where you are losing marks.
Why you would want it¶
Same reason as hamexam and a different country: the Canadian exams are drawn from published banks, so practising against the bank is the method. Having it offline and free matters for a study tool people use in short bursts over weeks.
Before it will work¶
None.
How it installs¶
- apt:
canadian-ham-exam
Known problems¶
The question bank is a snapshot at packaging time and Mint 22.3 carries 1.0.0 against 1.0.1 elsewhere. Basic with Honours is a pass threshold rather than a separate exam, and the program's scoring will not tell you what the current threshold is -- check the regulator, not the software.
Keeping it current¶
- probe: apt policy
- strategy: apt_upgrade
